The idea for Yard Cards by Erica came to me after visiting a
friend who had just had her first baby. Her mother in-law had
lovingly labored for hours painting a stork for the front yard
to announce the baby's arrival.
I'm always looking for unique gifts, especially for those of my
friends who are having their second or third babies and seem
to have all the equipment or clothes they need.
What a great alternative to the flowers or cookie bouquets I
usually love to send!
In my area there are quite a few gated communities and
communities with strict Home Owners Association rules. It
was important my designs appear classy and be sized so as to
fit in with the integrity of the neighborhood.
Many, many thanks to my very talented Aunt Ginny who helped
me with the designs. And my Uncle Don who helped execute
the final product. I couldn't have done it without them.
